July 23rd… My baby’s 3rd birthday! This was the first year we have invited friends, and it was a success!! Since his birthday is in the summer, I automatically thought swim party (which is what we’ve really done for his other birthdays!). Well hubby brings up, he is only three and the kids we invite may not be so aquatically inclined. Well, I gave it some thought, did a quick FB poll and decided to do it anyway. I had a baby pool and some other outdoor kids toys to entertain those who may not want to swim.
Next issue… birthday theme! Earlier in the year he was in love with Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney. So I was like how cool would it be to have a pirate party for him! Unfortunately he had other plans once the movie Cars 2 came out. So needless to say, he won! Cars party it was! So here’s how I decorated for it:
