Where did the time go? My baby is 5!!

Can you all believe that my little one has turned 5! I know right? It’s crazy! There is no way he can be that old? He’s my little snuggle buddy! He can’t be going to kindergarten in a few weeks!! He can’t be leaving the preschool at church! What am I gonna do?? I guess we will celebrate! (Sounds about right!) He has been begging for a fun factory party, so since we are in the middle of getting ready to move and that makes my house a giant wreck, I agreed! Yes you read that right, we are also moving this summer (more on that later).

I have no idea! It flew by is all I can say! At 5years old, he loves baseball and wants to be like his brother! He is super excited about school starting and truly loves his friends (as he gave them all a big hug at his party as a thanks for coming). He is always happy with a big smile and pretty humorous with his knock knock jokes! This year he has also changed his name to Joe… although sometimes he is just john, other times he is emory! crazy kid! We love him so much and life would not be the same without him! I know this next year will be great and he will do great with all of his new experiences, blazing his own trail at school! I will leave you with some parting shots of his celebration!

 

Taylorville AllStars

Eric got a chance to play on the 7/8 rookie all star team this year! They didn't make it any further than the district tournament, but we are grateful for the opportunity to play! He had a great time regardless of the results (insert proud momma here)! He got to play catcher and also swapped up and played some in the outfield! We are super proud of him!

Oh, he looks so grown up!! What am I gonna do!

June Beach Trip

We took a quick weekend trip to the Beach to see Uncle Jason and Aunt Crisi and their new house! We had a great time and are thankful for the opportunity to stay with them! We are glad they were able to spend time with us and be tourists!! We look forward to seeing you guys in August!!

Braves Game 2013

We took our second annual Braves Trip in June! The boys are really beginning to show a true love and obsession for the game of baseball (insert momma happy face)! It was ultimate kids day and rainy, but we had lots of fun despite that!

Scout Camp 2013

This was Eric's second year at resident camp! He had a lot of fun despite the rain and storms!(would have been much more fun if he hadn't ended in my cot with me!) He earned his whittling chip and is super excited about that! He and a friend only "got lost" once, so I guess that's good! They weren't really lost, just me and the other leader didn't know where they were! No fears, they had gone to the medical center because his friend got stung by an insect! Good thing for the buddy rule!
