March Rewind Recap!!

So it's been a couple of weeks since I posted anything (sorry), but it's been kinda crazy busy around here, so I"m about to do a few posts to catch you up on what the McDanal Clan has been so busy doing! Hope you enjoy and stick with me through it!!

Saturday Project # 2

This is what we originally went to Lowe's to get this morning! Sand for our sandless box (it's nickname since it had no sand) that Jamie built for Eric.

JE really is enjoying it!!

They are having a blast playing as I type this!! It's so hot out today, so I came in for a little while to see if I could sneak out some of the over abundance of toys we have managed to collect!! Before I left them I had to chase JE around the yard to get sunblock on his little face!! They are having so much fun that I don't know if I will ever get them in the house again!! Oh well... back to work for me!!

A saturday project

Seems like a really good day for a fun project. JE picked this out while we were at Lowe's picking up some play sand. In case you can't tell, it's a race car!

He is such a good helper putting it together. He handles the hammer like a pro!!

Almost finished!!

TA DA!! Finished the Lowe's #48 race car! Jimmy Johnson is ready to go for his first practice lap!!

OH NO!! He crashed on the first lap!!!

"Oh look... A cat! Let's go see what it's doing!!" Thus ending our project!!

Track Club and other stuff you might find interesting!!

Eric's big accomplishment in February (other than losing teeth) was to make Track Club!! This means he has run 30miles at school!! We are so proud of him!!

He got this great T-Shirt and a star on the PE wall! To celebrate we went to Chuck E. Cheese!

Hey guess what... I got a new haircut to start off March in style! This is what it looked like post cut!! I love it! Thank you Tera at Tera Lane.

Last but not least I would like to share the newest member of the McDuffie Family. My brother Jason and his wife, Jenni, just adopted this beautiful yellow lab! As of this writing I did not know if she had been named yet, but feel free to stop by Woods and Water and ask Jason!

Farm Week at NBD

This week at JE's school they had a choice to dress as farmers or farm animals. Farmer he became! Unfortunately, he is going through an "I don't want my picture taken phase!" So there's a lack of good pictures! Plus he's not too crazy about the overalls! The last pics are of the duck hat he made that he absolutely loved!! Day 2 pics to come later! Sorry I've been out of the loop!! More to come soon!!!

NBD Farmer Day #2

Still not very cooperative with the picture taking!!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

Here are the Valentine goodies. Yes those are fuzzy socks! Eric loves them, so I got them and then JE insisted on a pair too, so he got some. Then they got some chemistry sets to make snow and rainbow crystals, and of course chocolate. Me, I got the flowers pictured above, however I had to swing by work to get them because I was home with a sick JE on V - Day. They were beautiful and came from Pat's Florist. Randy does some beautiful work. He's my fav florist!! I asked Eric what to get Jamie and he gave me a list 1) work gloves

2) candy

3) a hug and a kiss

4) record a new episode of extreme 4x4

5) a card

6) eric would stay on a good number at school (he came home on a 4, so that's great)

I got him most of what eric said, including the work gloves, I added a rose to plant in the yard, some packs of seeds, and soil. That way when everything blooms he can remember how much we love him!! AWWWW!!!!! How Sweet am I!!??

Sorry about the Legos in the background, but ya know Eric loves to play with them.
